In college, I remember being out on the track experimenting with my speed equipment earlier in the day before practices. It was the morning and we had practices in the afternoon. Some players thought I was crazy, but I was regularly 2 or 3 steps quicker than my teammates in-season. This was my secret weapon. It was like an in-season turbo boost, and I was never injured.
